You wil be able to choose a new health heart container or increased max stamina for each set of four lights of blessings you provide. Head over to the shelter and give the statue lady as many as you want (but at least 4 ). It has to be a major, big one with an upgrade shelter located within it. Once you have 4 ( or more), head over to any settlement anywhere on the map. You will need to have at least four in your possession to get each upgrade. All of the shrines are marked as blue squares on your map.
These shrines are mini-puzzle locations that will net you an inventory item as well. These are located and earned by completing shrines.
